Sand Bags
We use sandbags to help the body release, to improve breathing and to bring awareness to specific parts of the body. These sandbags are made by hand by Anne, a Functional Synergy instructor.
The sand is contained in a bag, and the cover is made of durable cotton twill with a velcro closure for easy removal and cleaning.
Our sandbags are rectangular in shape to enable specific placement. Their weight is 10 lbs.

Pressed Foam Blocks
Pressed Foam Blocks are used in a myriad of ways. Use them to support yourself in sitting, to bring awareness to the inner or outer thigh muscles, to improve mobility in the upper spine and shoulder joints, to experience "grounding" through the feet, or to improve balance.

Felt Pads with Cover
The felt pad is rectangular in shape and can rolled up 2 ways - one that is thicker and one that is longer but thinner. Use the felt pad to gently and progressively release through the spine for better alignment and stability.

Spinal Strips - in packages of 4
Foam spinal strips are dense and resilient. Regular practice with the strip releases the tight areas of the thoracic spine and brings better alignment and stability to the entire spine.

Black Strap with Buckle
Our cotton black straps with a buckle are 8 feet long making them quite versatile. You can use them as support for releasing the back of your legs (hamstrings and calves), the inside of your thighs (adductors) and outside of thighs (abductors); as well as improving shoulder mobility.
