The Anatomy of the Knees
Product Type: Book
This book is a supplement to Anatomy and Asana: Preventing Yoga Injuries, with more drawings, more principles and more inquiries to fuel your exploration of anatomy and yoga.
In it you will explore the nature of the knee in yoga; how the joint moves, how it doesn't move and typical patterns of injury. You'll delve into different practices that will help optimize knee function and surrounding structures for strong, stable and pain free postures whether in standing or sitting. And as always, inquiries and explorations to make it all make sense.

The Anatomy of the Knees
Hello, I just wanted to thank you writing this book on the knee because about two and half years ago I had my ACL reconstructed and just going back to the Martial Arts now. It has been about 4 months or so, but some of the stretching they do is done incorrectly. I snapped my ACL in Tae Known Do for this reason and want to avoid doing it incorrectly and instead of strengthening it like we all think we may be doing it we may be weakening it like I did 6 years ago. This book is helpful. Thanks again for writing it. Thanks!
Darin Johnson
