Your symptoms are telling you that something isn’t as it should be. When you push through the symptoms, when you ignore them, they will come back louder and more persistent. When you really understand how they are guiding you, you will move better, you will sleep better, feel more renewed, and you’ll work with a lot more effortlessness. Things will be less hard.
We live in a physical world, our body absorbs and dissipates forces every moment and in every movement. When we have good physical integrity we manage the load much better and symptoms drop. However, if we are doing activity that is bigger than we can bear, and that load is ongoing, our body will begin to break down.
The same occurs with our mind. When the load of life gets “heavy” we can feel it as tired eyes, headaches, back ache, increased flares, decreased breathing and increased tension, and more.
People will try and resolve the issues with different techniques like strengthening what is weak and stretching what is tight. They may get out walking or on the treadmill. They might meditate or learn to breathe. They may use marijuana or other herbal remedy.
And these might work – until they don’t. People will then do one of two things – they will become resigned to “what is”, thinking it is just what life has dealt them, or they will buckle down with greater voracity to find a solution. Neither is really working nor is very fulfilling. Both can be draining, tiring and annoying. . .
This is where I come in. I help those people who have tried a bunch of things and they are not feeling any better. They find themselves in a cyclical pattern and are tired of feeling the way they do.

From Pain to Possibility is a 5 week program beginning October 1 and ending November 2.
Weekly Schedule:
Week 1: Explore foundational movements of the shoulder and hips so that you can become aware of what is working and not working, and have clarity on where you are compensating and what to do.
Week 2: Building upon week 1, we’ll explore hip stability and core stability as well as their integration with breathing.
Week 3: With the foundation of weeks 1 and 2, we’ll move into standing, we’ll explore yoga positions, squats, connecting the hips and the feet, ribs and shoulders.
Week 4: Now is time to connect into twisting, lunging, backbending and more. I will help you to integrate your awareness and clarity so you can start to move back into activities you love.
Week 5: This is a big week of breaking down common activities like tennis, swimming, cross country skiing as well as more complex yoga poses like downward dog and plank – this will give you a good understanding of what you need to grow and develop in order to do these movements well and with less compensation, better performance and recovery.

From Pain to Possibility is a 5 week program beginning October 1 and ending November 2.
Themes:
Week 1: A Fresh Outlook on Healing: See that healing is possible, bust up commonly held beliefs that are actually myths. You’ll understand that how you move and how you breathe has an impact on how you feel and how quickly you heal.
Week 2: Decoding Your Body’s Language: The nature of pain, the language of symptoms. How to listen to your body so that you know when to transition from the physical therapy clinic and into to more regular exercise. Clients pay over $1,500.00/month to work with me 1:1, and my foundational teacher-training program begins at $1999. This training costs much less, and you will have access to me throughout our 5 weeks together (there are no other assistant trainers working with me, you get me for the entire duration of the program).

This is for you if you know that healing is possible and that intuitively know that something is up. You are ready to slow down and ready to stop pushing symptoms aside in the spirit of mind over matter. You already recognize that the more you push, the more the symptoms stick around or grow.
