Exploring Twisting

A lot of people avoid twisting in their yoga or movement practices for fear of developing SI or spinal issues. If however, you twist well, those issues will clear up.

Twisting is such a necessary part of movement – it supports sagittal and frontal plane movement, and spinal rotation is a necessary part of walking, running, stair climbing. Without it….you just won’t absorb load well.
