Ah, Vira 1 and 3 and the beauty of the Pelvis that so often becomes unsquare. And if you haven’t heard. . . I have a bit of an “issue” when it comes to tucking the tailbone. Have fun with these.
Tifany
On Warrior 1, I never considered how tucking the ribs can affect breathing and shorten ab fibers, or how tucking the tailbone compresses the spine and shortens the abdominal myofascia. I have been told to do both of these. I don't ever tuck the tailbone (learned from Judith H. Lasater). My ribs do flair and my pelvis does tilt forward. Now, I better understand why. I'll start with a smaller step, and pay attention on taking the back leg back in extension and external rotation, and start playing there.
