One of the primary concepts that Susi teaches all of her students and teacher trainees is that Where the Pain Is, Isn’t the Problem, rather it is a sign of limitation, dysfunction or compensation. The real problem is usually found in another area of the body. With knee pain, for example, there are often correlated limitations in the hips and feet.
This is why general exercise, strength training, stretching or even core work may not be giving you the results you are wanting, or the relief you are needing. You need to resolve the underlying movement pattern first . . . you need to solve the “problem that is”.
