This is the downloadable version of the YogaTHRIVE: Yoga for Cancer Survivor’s videos. It is designed for people who are in treatment or who are finished treatment.
This program was created as part of a study looking at the impact of yoga on cancer survivors. Designed by Susi Hately and studied at the University of Calgary for 8 years, this program has shown significant results with improving quality of life, improving wellbeing, and reducing fatigue levels.
Susi teaching yoga since 1999, and there are 2 common experiences she has witnessed: for people going through treatment they often ask, “what else can I do that will help?” For many people who have finished treatment, they ask: “what next”?
This gentle and gradually progressive program helps to rebuild breath awareness, body awareness, flexibility and as the weeks progress, stability and strength.
In all, this video series includes 7 – 1.25 hour programs suitable for people who have never done yoga before, as well as people who are wanting to get back into a practice they had put on hold.
