There are three key pieces to understanding your body’s signals so you can resolve your pain and discomfort issues once and for all:  

  • BIOMECHANICS: 

    Persistent pain is often related to biomechanical patterns that are in conflict with the way your body is designed to move. This can lead to over-bracing or gripping or simply compensating in order to get a job or activity completed. Over time, these less-than-optimal movement patterns can wear you down.  When you can resolve these inefficiencies, not only will you move better, your pain will reduce or go away.  Not only that – when you’re able to recognize the signs that these biomechanical patterns are starting to come back, you can resolve the situation before the pain becomes a thing again!

  • AWARENESS:
    Many people will say their pain or symptoms came back without any warning. Yet there are always subtle signals (we call them whispers or "yellow lights") that indicate the problems causing the pain on their way back. These often relate to tension-holding patterns, breathing limitations and other limited biomechanical patterns. By increasing your awareness of these subtle signs, you will be better able to respond to them before they become a bigger problem.
  • INTEGRATION: 
    When you learn how to recognize and address your body’s signals when they’re still at a “whisper level,” your pain issues will remain greatly reduced or eradicated altogether.

SUSI HATELY, B.SC.KINESIOLOGY

Hi there! I’m Susi Hately, a certified yoga therapist with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology.  For over  25 years, I have been the bridge between the medical world and yoga – helping people use intentional body movement, breath and stillness to reduce pain, eliminate autoimmune flares, resolve migraine issues and sleep disorders, thaw frozen shoulders, and manage the impacts of medical treatment processes (such as chemo, radiation, or invasive surgery).


I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all answer for helping someone heal or overcome pain. Truly. You just need to become aware of how you are moving and breathing and then recognize the gaps between your movement, your breathing, and the activities you really want to participate in.

​WHO IS THIS FOR?

Solving the Pain Puzzle is for people who have had some short-term success with pain reduction but not long-term, sustainable results.  They want less fluff and more practical and therapeutic applications using yoga. They are ready to listen to and process their body’s natural cues and intuitive feedback, and they want to build confidence in their body as a vehicle for healing.

​WHAT DO I GET ​?

• A week of teaching with Susi

How the weekly calls work:

• During these calls, Susi will answer your questions and help you gain deeper understanding of the concepts.

• Members can submit video of themselves doing the movement exercises.

• Susi will review the video.

• Susi will show you what she sees and where your compensation patterns are, and what you need to do to improve your movement.

• We dig deeper into anatomy and biomechanics, particularly how they relate to conditions like back pain, SI joint dysfunction, and cyclical patterns of pain of all sorts.

I HAVE NEVER PRACTICED YOGA, WILL I BENEFIT?

It doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or a seasoned yogi with years of experience on the mat. If you want to move better, learn to listen to the whispers of your body so you can get to the root of your pain, and experience more energy and vitality – you’re in the right place.

If you’re a yoga teacher or health professional with pain, you are in the right place. This program will give you a front row seat to discover how I work with clients, so you can improve your ability to help others out of pain.  You are welcome to share what you learn from me with your students or clients.

​WHO IS THIS PROGRAM *NOT* FOR?

This program isn’t for you if you’re looking for 1:1 sessions with me or seeking a templated approach to solving a physical problem. I do discuss conditions as they relate to biomechanics and movement, but I don’t offer quick fixes. This is all about truly learning to listen to your body and really understanding how you move.

​I DON’T LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA. WILL THIS WORK?

Yes. People from all over the world have participated in previous sessions  of this program – across Canada, US, Australia, Africa, Europe, UK, Mexico, Guatemala, and more.

CAN I SHARE MY ​PROGRAM WITH A FRIEND?

If you have a friend or peer who wants to join, they are most welcome to register on their own, so you can have fun comparing notes as you complete the program together! But your registration is for your use only.

​HOW MUCH DOES ​REGISTRATION COST?

When you register on or before November 6, 2020, the cost is $179 plus applicable taxes. On November 7, 2020, the fee rises to $249 plus applicable taxes. Fees are in Canadian Funds.

​​IF I’M NOT SATISFIED, CAN I GET A REFUND?

For over 25 years, I have seen excellent results with clients who work with me and put in the time to do the work. I also know that this approach is not for everyone, and people figure out pretty quickly if what I’m offering isn’t the right approach for them.  If, after the first hour of training you complete, you don’t feel like this program is right for you, we will give you a full 100% refund, no questions asked.  Just be sure to email before the end of Day 1.

​WILL I GET DIRECT FEEDBACK FROM SUSI?

Yes. You have access to Susi to ask questions and submit a video of your movement for review. Susi is the only teacher on the program and you will get direct to her during your three Q&A calls.
